Things to do in Letterkenny This St Patricks Weekend, Donegal

The best spot is Letterkenny, County Donegal to celebrate St Patricks weekend! We have everything you need to celebrate the beauty of the North West of Ireland along with the excitement of a busy, fun & creative parade! Coming with kids? A leisurely walk around Glenveagh, a visit to Tropical world or a quick stop at Lurgy Brack Fun Farm all come highly recommended! If the weather does it's usual on us, full use of the Mount Errigal's brand new Kid's Pool is free to use for residents! The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade that brings 1000s of locals and visitors to the streets of Letterkenny. In 2013 the parade takes place on Sunday 17th March starting at 3pm. The parade starts at Station Roundabout and winds its way up Port Road, through the long Letterkenny Main Street to finish at Old Town. Over the 90 minutes it takes to pass there will be bands, floats and lots of individuals, young and old. Every entry works hard to deliver an imaginative and fun parade and give Letterkenny a carnival feel helping us all to celebratie all things Irish. For accommodation, a bite to eat or a gourmet meal, look no further than the Mount Errigal Hotel, www.mounterrigal.com we have irish traditional sessions throughout the evening and there is no better place to get the perfect PINT OF GUINNESS! call 00353 (0)719122700 for more details :-)
