Billy Yates & Robert Mizzell in Concert, 17th May at the Mount Errigal Hotel

Before you read this, think of your favorite Country Star! The chances are they’ve recorded a song written by Nashville sensation, Mr. Billy Yates!
Well, if you’re a fan of Robert Mizzell, you’re in for a Double Treat! LCM Promos have brought Billy Yates and Robert together in the Studio to record a Duet, ‘Just Be You’ and both gentlemen are performing a special Concert Tour around Ireland in May 17th – and what’s more, they will be supported on stage by Donegal’s newest Country sensation, Sarah Louise from Gaoith Dobhar!

Billy Yates was born into a musical family and began singing on a local radio show before Sunday Church. The future country star grew up on a farm with a steady diet of hardcore country.
He catapulted into success when George Jones recorded not one, but seven of Billy’s songs,
"I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair," which won the 1993 CMA Vocal Event of the Year, as well as Yates’ "Choices" which won the Grammy that year.
Yates' songs have been recorded by the who’s who of Country Music all over the world, including George Jones, Gene Watson, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Sarah Evans, Tracy Lawrence, The Oak Ridge Boys, Robert Mizzell – amongst dozens more!

Yates is also a successful performer, having been a featured artist on the Grand Ole Opry over 40 time and has sold out shows the world over – from Tennessee to Tokyo!
The singer/songwriter has produced eight critically lauded studio albums between 2001-2012, including his masterstroke ‘Just Be You’ (2011), from which this duet with Robert Mizzell, ‘Just Be You’ is taken.

Yates has built a large and loyal fan-base in Ireland and is, as he says himself, long overdue a trip to the ‘True Home of Country Music”.
