Opening Night : Saffron Hair & Beauty Lounge at the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny County Donegal.

On the 10^th November 2015, Saffron Hair & Beauty Lounge officially opened its doors at the Mount Errigal Hotel.  The Salon is a brand new, purpose built 2 floor salon, which is a one stop shop for Hair, Beauty, Nails, Spa Treatments & much more.

The evening commenced over a glass of champagne & canapes at 7pm.  Lee Gooch our compere introduced Anjali & spoke to her about the new salon, its products and packages which will be available, Lee then introduced  Pamela from Alexandria Sugaring and Sarah from Dermologica who demonstrated various treatments available to book in the salon.

 Loretto Mc Eniff also addressed the guests and welcomed them to the hotel & lodged her delight in working with Anjali, Mohammed & her team along with thanking them for their hard work in conjunction with Carolynne Harrison the Sales & Marketing Manager of the hotel in bringing everything together for the official opening night.

The special guests on the evening were Jennifer Wrynne, award winning milliner & fashion blogger from Leitrim, Jennifer told Lee that
She specialises in creating hats and headpieces for Weddings and Ladies Day at the Races. Her designs are unique and imaginative. Each piece is made entirely by hand to a high quality standard.

Jennifer was awarded 'Best Dressed Lady' at the Cheltenham Races this year winning a €20,000 prize. Alex Butler won 'Best Dressed Lady' at the Galway Races wearing Jennifer's red hat and most recently, Jennifer won 'Ireland's Best Young Entrepreneur' competition in Leitrim winning €20,000 for her business!​

After that we invited our Nicola McLaughlin – The Sequin Cinderella to the stage, Fashion Blogger & Designer from Buncrana.  Nicola spoke to Lee about her blog & her excitement at opening her very own boutique in Buncrana in the coming months which will showcase her very own fashion designs.

Once the demonstrations were complete, all the invited guests were escorted to the Salon, where Nicola McLaughlin & Jennifer Wrynne cut the ribbon to officially open the salon along with Loretto McEniff (Hotel Proprietor) and Anjali, her husband Mohammad and their two children who own Saffron Hair & Beauty Lounge.

Anjali Mohammed, the business owner of Saffron Hair & Beauty Lounge is passionate about bringing the latest treatments to Letterkenny & Donegal.  The salon will be the only one to offer Tigi Colour in Letterkenny and the only salon in Donegal to offer Alexandria Sugaring.  Anjali has a keen interest in ‘Natural’ treatments, which is why she was eager to introduce sugaring hair removal.

The salon has a Mac Makeup Bar, Blow-dry Bar along with a cutting and colouring station in beautiful surroundings along with numerous new treatment rooms, nail bar and spray tanning room, all of which are purpose built.

Terry & Loretto McEniff are delighted to be working with Anjali and her team, they are excited that the hotel is now offering the latest Hair, Health & Beauty treatments in a stunning new environment.  Carolynne the hotel’s sales & marketing manager is equally thrilled, she has seen the demand growing for this type of facility from hotel leisure guests, corporate guests and even from leisure club members who would love nothing more than a quick blow-dry after their swim or work out!  Carolynne also added that in terms of local clients, parking is ample and with its location being just outside town, traffic is less of an issue also.
